I found this product easy to assemble as my preteen was able to put it together without any difficulty. All the necessary parts were included, which was a bonus. It made a great addition to our growing Lego collection.

The product was the perfect addition to my collection! I was slightly disappointed that the box arrived squished, as I usually like to keep them for storage. However, the product itself was excellent, and I don’t have any other complaints. I want to express my gratitude to Amazon for delivering it to me so promptly 😊

This Lego set is a recreation of the iconic Expecto Patronum scene from The Prisoner of Azkaban. The majority of the builds consist of two trees from the forbidden forest. While these trees look impressive from the front, they lack dimension when viewed from the back, appearing quite flat. It would have been better if they had a cylindrical shape to add more realism. Additionally, the trees seem a bit short in comparison to the stag Patronus. One of the trees includes a stud shooter that can launch a glittering dish piece to represent the Expecto Patronum spell. Although the spell seemed larger and more impressive in the movie, the play feature still effectively conveys its purpose. The set also includes a build of a shore and rocks where Sirius Black can rest. It would have been preferable to have a larger land area, although there is enough space for the figures to stand. Overall, this set captures the scene in a minimalistic way. It would have been nice if more pieces were included to add more detail to the builds, but I understand that the Lego designers were likely constrained by a budget.
The selection of Minifigures in this set is great, although none of them are exclusive. They are well-suited for the recreated scene. Sirius Black’s Minifigure has an open collar to display his tattoos. The tattoos may not be accurately proportional to those seen in the movie, but they were likely made more noticeable for the Lego version. Lego tends to struggle with printing skin tones that are opaque enough, and this figure is no exception. The set also includes a new stag piece that looks magnificent. The piece is made of hard translucent plastic with silver glitter, except for the antlers which are made of soft plastic and have no glitter. If you are a fan of this scene or specifically want the stag Patronus, I would recommend getting this set. However, if you are not particularly interested in those aspects, there are other ways to obtain the Minifigures.
