This is definitely one of my top sets for 2022. The level of detail is incredible, and I absolutely adore the Phase 2 Commander Cody included.

I was really excited to find out that Lego was releasing a new AT-TE set, especially since I had missed out on the previous ones. Building it was a lot of fun and I’m really happy to be able to add it to my collection of Lego Clone Wars sets.
The minifigures are pretty good, although I have to say that the clone helmets look a bit chunky with the holes for the antenna and visor attachments. I personally prefer the old helmet design for the clone trooper minifigures. However, my main reason for buying this set was for the AT-TE itself.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I think this set is perfect for any fan of the Clone Wars series.

This LEGO set is an excellent value for money, especially since it’s currently on sale for just $112. It has all the play features you can ask for, a solid and modular build, and a great selection of mini figures considering its price. The only downside is that the printing on the helmets of the 212th division clone troopers has some errors, making them not exactly screen accurate. However, the set includes Commander Cody, a pilot, and 3 212th division clone troopers, as well as a spider droid and three B-1s. It took me around 2 hours to complete the build, and I really like how the front cockpit can be removed and the interior can be accessed through the main turret cover at the rear. This set used to retail for $130, so I highly recommend any Clone Wars lover to grab it before it’s discontinued and the price goes up.

Firstly, I would like to acknowledge that the pricing of this set has been fluctuating on the higher side due to supply issues. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $139.99, so please bear this in mind when purchasing from any source. However, it is worth noting that the higher prices are usually charged by scalpers and those looking to make a profit, sometimes even exceeding $200. Now, let’s talk about the set itself…
This set is truly fantastic, with excellent construction and an impressive selection of minifigures from the Star Wars/Clone Wars universe. Commander Cody looks amazing, and the new helmet molds add a nice touch for customization. While some people tend to scrutinize the helmets, it is important to acknowledge that progress has to be made somewhere, and the slight differences in molding are not a major issue unless you closely examine the minifigure against a contrasting background. The helmets are perfectly fine.
LEGO has certainly hit the mark with this set, and I believe it is a worthwhile purchase. If the $139.99 price tag seems intimidating, you can always save up some extra cash and then make the purchase. Either way, I don’t think you will regret your decision.
    Pros:
    – Commander Cody
    – Generous number of Clone Troopers
    – Sufficient interior space for troopers
    – Enjoyable “missile” play function
    – Sturdy and solid construction
    Cons:
    – Some individuals may not like the appearance of the helmets
    – The price is on the higher side, although not exorbitant.

I had a great time assembling the AT-TE. The instructions were straightforward and the final product looks really impressive. My only issue is that there are some visible gaps and areas where you can see the interior. Most of these are located underneath and it would be challenging to fill them with Lego pieces. Nevertheless, I have to commend the Lego team for their amazing design of the AT-TE. I’m even considering getting a second one!
