I would highly recommend this puzzle for anyone who finds themselves bedridden with the flu, just like I did. The design is incredibly impressive and the size of the puzzle pieces is surprisingly small. This unique design definitely stands out, although I must mention that the instructions can be a bit unclear when it comes to choosing the correct shade of brick. So, it’s important to proceed with caution. I would advise against giving this puzzle to young children due to its small size, but it’s perfect for older kids and adults who are seeking a delightful challenge. This kit truly offers something special.

I recently completed the Noodle Shop, the final kit in a series of street view shops that open up. Overall, I’ve enjoyed all of these kits and have been impressed by the level of detail. However…
Both the Noodle Shop and the Lemon Tea shop have a different style of stickers compared to the other four kits in the series. In these two sets, the stickers are like transfers with a clear film that you lift off to place the decal on the piece. While this looks good on windows, it can be annoying because you rarely have a second chance to position them correctly, and the decals themselves are fragile. Additionally, the decals have a tendency to come off the sticker sheet when you’re trying to get a different sticker, and if they stick to any other part of the sheet, they’re ruined. The instructions for the Noodle Shop were also the least clear, as they didn’t always indicate which sticker number to use, resulting in some guesswork (often incorrect). Patience is definitely required!
Unfortunately, these were the only two sets where I had missing pieces. It’s particularly disappointing with the Noodle Shop because one of the missing pieces is distinctive and located on the front of one of the signs. However, as my wife says, no one else will notice except me.
That being said, all of these kits are incredibly detailed, though I would advise against them for young children. After using these kits, the bricks from the market-leading brand feel a little oversized in comparison.

These building bricks are of good quality, falling somewhere in size between Polly Pocket and LEGO Mini. The set is engaging and recommended for ages 6 and up. However, the way some of the moving parts are assembled might make it a bit challenging for 6-year-olds. Unlike LEGO, this brand does not have the same level of organization in their brick bags. As a result, there is a more traditional puzzle-like feel when completing the set, which I personally enjoyed. I found it helpful to pour all the pieces onto a dinner plate, but in the future, I plan to use a different surface so that my pets don’t accidentally knock the pieces off. It would be great if the product packaging resembled a puzzle box, as this would provide a convenient way to keep all the pieces together during assembly. Despite ending up with some extra pieces, I am grateful for the variety of extras included in case anything went missing. I will update my review with a photo once I finish my other sets. Overall, I highly recommend this product. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars for “Easy to Assemble” is because the small size of the pieces and the difficulty of attaching the roofs and honey hive without knocking off the already attached sections required some careful maneuvering and slight deviations from the instructions. Additionally, the bucket handles are a bit flimsy, causing the bees to fall off if they are bumped.

Pros- The product had nice packaging and all the pieces were included, as advertised. It also came with a block remover tool that somewhat worked. The instructions were clear and colorful, and the end result was cute.
Cons- The coloring on the instructions made it a bit challenging to distinguish between some of the small brown pieces unless you pre-sort them. The pieces were bagged into groups based on some manufacturing sorting rather than steps, which can be confusing. The instructions were on a large fold-out sheet on both sides, instead of a booklet.
Notes: This product is not made by LEGO, but it is a micro set with small pieces. It is not suitable for the average 6-year-old, as the pieces are difficult to adjust if you make a mistake. However, it is a good micro set for beginners as it can be completed in a reasonable amount of time. I would not recommend it for a child attempting this type of set for the first time.

Let’s begin with the packaging, which was beautifully shiny and made for a perfect wow-worthy gift for anyone who appreciates Japanese culture and enjoys building aesthetically pleasing items. It took me approximately 7 hours to assemble, but the end result looks absolutely amazing on my shelf. When closed, it is conveniently compact, no wider than a cell phone screen and not taller either. I was so thrilled with this product that I have already placed an order for the Takoyaki Shop, and I have my eye on other sets as well. The price point was very reasonable, and overall, I am extremely satisfied. However, I do have one minor complaint – there were similar colors among the pieces, which took a bit of getting used to and required me to refer back to the box to distinguish between them. This issue was only relevant at the beginning, as once I got the hang of it, the process became smooth sailing. I mention this because I don’t want others to become frustrated with the set. So take your time with it, and you’ll truly enjoy the experience. It’s also worth mentioning that tweezers are a handy tool to have for applying the stickers, and the set includes its own brick separator tool, which is fantastic.
