If you have a child (or even an adult, no judgment) who enjoys building, this product is a must-have! Putting it together was an enjoyable experience. The instructions provided are easy to follow, but it does take some time to fully complete. It is a bit on the pricey side, but considering the amount of time and effort you’ll invest in it, I’d say it’s definitely worth it.

The construction of this steampunk airship falls in the perfect balance of not being too easy or too difficult to assemble. It offers great value for the price and would make an excellent Christmas gift. Moreover, it provides a wonderful opportunity for bonding time.

My son and I had a great time building this ship, which was our ultimate goal. It offers good value for its current list price. However, we did encounter some challenges due to certain design choices that caused it to fall apart easily during the building process. Thankfully, we were able to make some adjustments along the way to improve its stability. Additionally, while the directions were decent, they could have been better. It was easy to miss adding small pieces, and sometimes it was difficult to differentiate between similar pieces of different sizes. Furthermore, there were frequent changes in perspective, which could be confusing. Overall, it is a good set, but not outstanding.

I must say, the person behind the overall design and styling of this piece deserves a big round of applause. They did an absolutely incredible job! There are so many remarkable little details and clever use of parts that represent things you would never even think of. The addition of the “blimp” element is particularly unique and refreshing. I was also pleasantly surprised by the creativity in constructing the dragon. With just a few pieces, they managed to create a fully articulated flying monster!
However, as much as I admire the creativity, there are some downsides when it comes to practicality. Moving this piece or allowing kids to play with it becomes quite challenging. The downside to its ingenuity is the lack of sturdiness. Even the simple act of picking it up can cause parts to fall off. And when you try to put those pieces back on, be prepared for other parts to fall off in the process. It becomes quite frustrating, especially when attempting to reassemble everything. In fact, this might be the only building block set where gluing it together as you build it is not a terrible idea.
Currently, I have it proudly displayed on my bookshelf, and it looks absolutely amazing. However, I have come to terms with the fact that it will most likely stay there forever because I lack the patience to relocate it again.

I purchased this product because I thought it would be a fun activity to do with my 6-year-old. Although it is recommended for kids aged 10 and up, I decided to take a chance. The initial experience was positive as there were many parts to assemble. However, after completing about 25% of the project, my daughter became bored and started using the Lego pieces for other things. Due to the large number of fragile parts, I decided to put it away and wait for my daughter to show interest again. From what I have done so far, I believe this product is perfect for Lego enthusiasts and those who enjoy assembling things. Even though I have only completed a quarter of it, I can already tell that the final product will be beautiful and worthy of display.
