This Lego build is highly rated for a reason. It perfectly captures the essence of the car, from the bumper to the spoiler. The headlight lens configuration and unique taillights shape add a nice touch. These speed champions sets are both enjoyable and affordable.
The time it takes to build depends on the age of the builder. The most challenging aspect of this model is applying the 13 decals. This can be difficult for children aged 8 to 10, but it is perfect for those aged 12 and up. With some parental assistance, it can also be suitable for children aged 6 to 10. The build itself is fairly straightforward. As a 27-year-old adult, it took me approximately 2 and a half hours to complete.
In terms of appearance, it is flawlessly accurate. It instantly reminds you of the Countach while still maintaining that distinctive Lego aesthetic. I absolutely love it.
Overall, this is a must-buy. My girlfriend also loved it, although not quite as much as I love her.

After visiting Legoland, I was inspired to build this Lego set with my 9-year-old son who has special needs. Initially, he lost interest in it, but once we completed it, I thoroughly enjoyed the process of putting it together. As someone who used to play with Legos extensively as a child, I had reservations about kits that had specific pieces for one purpose only. I preferred the freedom to build, dismantle, and rebuild as I pleased. However, I must admit that I was impressed with the engineering that went into this model. It was of a decent size and looked amazing once assembled. The best part was that it was not overly expensive. For me, the satisfaction came from the hour of building, while for my son, the fun began when he started playing with it. The only small issue I encountered was that there were some leftover pieces at the end. Despite following the instructions diligently, there was a small pile of extra pieces remaining. As someone not accustomed to packaged Lego models, this didn’t feel right to me, even if they were just tiny ones that might easily get lost. Nevertheless, I decided to keep them. Considering everything, I believe it was a good value for the money.

The current collection of Speed Champion sets are impressively designed. They are large enough to house two small figures, unlike the older sets that only accommodated one figure. The shapes of the models also appear more realistic compared to the traditional Lego models. A major contributing factor to this is the clever use of all-in-one cockpit window pieces, which works well.
However, this particular set surpasses the others and truly shines. What truly astonished me about this set was the ingenious integration of the Countach’s original curves and scoops. The build is simply brilliant! My only criticism is that the build process ended too quickly. Amongst all the current Speed Champion sets, including the Ferrari 512 M, this set truly stands out. Although all of them are excellent choices, they make fantastic gifts for children aged 6 to 8 years old!
