Although I’m not particularly drawn to Land Rovers, as someone from the US, I tend to favor Jeeps as our go-to off-road vehicles. That being said, as a car enthusiast, I can still recognize the significant contributions Land Rover has made to the industry. Additionally, being a Lego aficionado and having almost collected all the Lego Icon cars, I decided to add this Land Rover set to my collection.
To my surprise, assembling this model turned out to be an absolute delight. I thoroughly enjoyed the building process, finding it even more engaging than the Porsche 911 build I purchased alongside it. In fact, I became so engrossed that I found myself unable to sleep and ended up spending a couple of hours working on it in the middle of the night. The creativity in the construction of this model was truly admirable, clearly demonstrating the expertise of its Lego designer.
Even if you don’t have a particularly strong affinity for Land Rovers, if you’re a fan of the Lego Icon cars series, this model is likely to become one of your favorites in your collection.

The design of this product is quite poor and the build feels flimsy, making it feel less durable. Additionally, the instructions provided with the product are frustrating and difficult to follow.

I made a mistake while building around step 10 when I placed a piece one level too high, and only realized it on step 214. Despite that, I still had a blast constructing it, and the final result looks amazing! The small builds included are also enjoyable and add to the overall fun.

I am disappointed with Briksmax because the LEGO pieces they reference for removal are incorrect. None of the pieces fit properly, making it impossible to assemble the model 10317 as instructed. Even from the beginning, the front assembly did not align properly and the headlights kept popping off. This is the second time I have tried a Briksmax product and it will definitely be my last.
